SJS Free Knitting Sessions

Service Description

Up to 5 free sessions of lunchtime Knitting Club at Sandwich Junior School. These free knitting sessions are on offer, by invitation only, to children in Years 4, 5 and 6, who have previously attended Knitting Club for at least one full term. They will take place from 12.20 to 13.00 on the following dates in March: Tuesday 10th March - complete Wednesday 11th March - complete Thursday 12th March - complete Monday 16th March - fully booked Tuesday 17th March Wednesday 18th March - fully booked Thursday 19th March - fully booked Monday 23rd March Tuesday 24th March Wednesday 25th March Each child must attend for at least 2 sessions, but are welcome to take part in up to 5. Please tick the dates your child would like to attend when completing the booking form. Thank you. The children will make knitted strips made up of different coloured squares, to celebrate 800 years of mayors in Sandwich. The strips will be sewn together to make a blanket, which will be on display at Age Concern in Sandwich. All materials will be provided. There will be a selection of colour choices for the children to choose from when they attend their first session. Dates and day of the week may be subject to change. Bookings will close on Monday 23rd March or once places are filled, whichever is sooner. Spaces are limited so please book early to guarantee a place. Please ignore the fact that this page is only showing 24th March for booking. It's set up like that so the bookings will remain open until 23rd. When you click through to the booking form there are tick boxes for all the days that still have spaces, so you can then choose a minimum of 2 days and up to 5 for your child. Thank you.
