SJS Knitting Club Tuesday Lunchtimes

5 sessions of lunchtime Knitting Club at Sandwich Junior School, for Years 4, 5 and 6, on Tuesday 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th September and 6th October. (Please note there is no Knitting Club on Tuesday 15th September). The choices this term are: Beginners - Pumpkin, apple or spider. Knitters who are confident with knit stitch - Ghost, more difficult pumpkin, more difficult spider or any of the above. Knitters who are confident with following a pattern - Bat, potato or any of the above. The items can be made in any of the following colours: red, orange, yellow, light green, forest green, teal, hot pink, peach, pink, blue, turquoise, royal blue, cream, white, lilac, purple, dark purple, navy blue, beige, dark beige, brown, grey, dark grey or black. Check gallery below to view them all. Please record choice of item and colour/s when booking. All materials are included in the price, and items are finished off so they can be taken home at the end of each course. Each participant will also receive a certificate with details of their achievements. The club is suitable for knitters of any level, and will be adapted as required to allow everyone to build on their skills week by week. Dates and days of the week may be subject to change. Bookings close on Monday 31st August, but places are limited so please book early to guarantee a place. Yarn is 100% acrylic. Stuffing is 100% polyester. Finished item is not a toy and should be kept out of reach and sight of children under the age of 7 and all pets. Optional extras to choose from at checkout, for free delivery to Sandwich Junior School: Child sized bamboo knitting needles (4mm width) - £2.99 each. Beginner's knitting kit with loops cast on and full instructions available to download - choose from rabbit, owl or fish in colour/s of choice - £15 each. Note - suitable adhesive e.g. hot glue gun, is required to attach the eyes to the fish.
