SJS Knitting Club Thursday lunchtimes

5 sessions of lunchtime Knitting Club at Sandwich Junior School, for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, on Thursdays 11th and 25th June and 2nd and 9th July, plus one other session to be arranged directly with each child. (Please note there is no Knitting Club on Thursday 18th June). The choices this term are: Beginners - Ladybird or Tomato. Knitters who have been to Knitting Club for at least one term – Bee or any of the above options. Knitters who are VERY confident with knit stitch - Peas in a pod, or any of the above options. Knitters who are VERY confident with casting on and following a pattern - Flower, Sunflower, difficult Tomato or any of the above options. The items can be made in any of the following colours: red, orange, yellow, light green, forest green, teal, hot pink, peach, pink, blue, turquoise, royal blue, cream, white, lilac, purple, dark purple, navy blue, beige, dark beige, brown, grey, dark grey or black. All materials are included in the price, and items are finished off so they can be taken home at the end of each course. Each participant will also receive a certificate with details of their achievements. The club is suitable for knitters of any level, and will be adapted as required to allow everyone to build on their skills week by week. Dates and day of the week may be subject to change. Bookings close on Wednesday 10th June, but places are limited so please book early to guarantee a place. Yarn is 100% acrylic. Stuffing is 100% polyester. Finished item is not a toy and should be kept out of reach and sight of children under the age of 7 and all pets. Optional extras to choose from at checkout, for free delivery to Sandwich Junior School: Child sized bamboo knitting needles (4mm width) - £2.99 each. Beginner's knitting kit with loops cast on and full instructions available to download - choose from rabbit, owl or fish in colour/s of choice - £15 each. Note - suitable adhesive e.g. hot glue gun, is required to attach the eyes to the fish.
